Golf: Blackley Golf Club welcomes new leadership team

Blackley Golf Club, which despite its name, is situated in Middleton, has just installed its new leadership team for the 2019 season: Captain, Kevin Bolton; Assistant Secretary, Mel Garner; President, Billy Radcliffe; Secretary, Mike Moxon and Treasurer, Tracy Bland.
Frank Hauxwell a member of the club said: “We are a friendly club providing enjoyable golfing in our re-designed 18-hole, mature parkland course which is one of the best in the area and with our clubhouse, which opened in 2009, makes it a pleasure to play.
“We are looking forward to another year of golf, with our new team.”
Established in November 1907, Blackley Golf Club’s 104 acres is set in the borough of Rochdale with parts stretching over the boundaries into Manchester and Chadderton.
