Rugby Union: Littleborough U10s v Old Brodleians
Date published: 20 November 2018
Littleborough Under 10s welcomed Old Brodleians on Sunday (18 November).
Hipperholme-based Old Brodleians played some inspirational rugby, for a team of such an age, making the scoring of home tries very difficult.
It was the Littleborough defence and teamwork that was tested constantly by the away team with fierce tackling by Ryan Baxandall, Archie Brentnall, Harry Deegan, Sam Stafford, Jess Smith and birthday boy Austin Chrimes. All of them prevented the away side from scoring again and again.
There were moments of brilliance from the little possession Littleborough had, which gave breaks for Kane Mills, Finley Canon, Harry Baron, Thomas Inman and Mason Hoyle to add to the score sheet.
These breaks would not have been possible without the support play from Georgie Fletcher and Leo Clegg, who both played their socks off. A great effort from all in a developing team that is improving every week.
