Rugby Union: Littleborough U12s
Date published: 06 November 2018
This weekend saw the best of Littleborough and Bolton's youth set up go head to head.
A close match up in the opening stages of the U12s was opened up by a few pieces of incredible team moves from Littleborough that proved to be the difference.
First a quick tap in the middle of the park was moved wide where Deacon Connelly did his very best Tommy Makinson impression to dart in for a try. He would precede Zak Brady in gaining a reward for his afternoons' work.
That was followed by a great return from full back who made it up to half way. The ball was quickly recycled by Alex Sunderland, who in turn fed Jake Ramsden to blast through and score.
Deacon Connelly then got his name on the score sheet again with a beautiful dummy and pirouette out of one tackle to race clear. He was joined quickly after by Harry Lees who used his speed to take a bouncing Joe Mills' clearance kick and glide in for a try.
