Rugby League: Junior Hornets team to launch in Heywood

A junior Hornets team is set to launch in Heywood on Tuesday 6 November.
Junior Hornets coaching sessions are start at 5pm at Heywood Sports Village on West Starkey Street. Sessions are free, and qualified staff will be on hand to lead the coaching. All players will receive a free rugby ball to take home with them.
Junior Hornets is for children between the ages of 8 and 11 and will teach all the core skills of rugby league - from passing and tackling to teamwork. The sessions will be fun and inclusive to all, especially those with no experience of playing rugby league before.
Junior Hornets will continue every Tuesday night at 5pm.
