Date published: 23 August 2018

Connor Randall has joined Rochdale on loan from Premier League side Liverpool FC.

The 22-year-old has joined the club on loan until January 2019.

The Liverpudlian said he is delighted to have completed the move and is looking forward to his time at the Crown Oil Arena.

He said: “When I heard about the move I was keen to come over and get it done.

“It has gone quite quickly, so I am very happy to get it completed. Hopefully whilst I am here I can impress and get as much game time as possible.”

Having joined five-time European Champions Liverpool at the age of six, Randall made his first-team debut for the club in October 2015.

He is capable of operating in defence or midfield and spent last season on loan at Scottish Premiership side Hearts, making 27 appearances whilst north of the border.

He will wear squad number 12 during his time at the club.

The deal is subject to confirmation from the EFL.
