Rugby League: Bottom of the table Mayfield looking for much needed win against Cumbrians Wath Brow

Mayfield are back in Kingstone Press NCL Premier Division action this Saturday with a home fixture against Cumbrians Wath Brow. 

Mayfield currently sit at the bottom of the division without a victory or a point to their name after three games.

Wath Brow have won two out of four of their games so far and will be looking to show that they are not just a home side so Mayfield will have to be on their guard.

A win would go a long way to putting Mayfield's poor start behind them.

The NWML side are also at home, entertaining Pilkington Recs.

Pilkington have a great pedigree but are not enjoying the best of starts this season having only won one out of four starts.

Coaches Dave Harmer and Craig White should have a strong squad to select from with some of last week’s Standard Cup winning side slotting back in after being given a confidence booster in the game.
