Rochdale Hornets welcome Barrow Raiders to the Crown Oil Arena for the first time in three years on Sunday.
Hornets suffered their third defeat out of three games so far this season against Toulouse Olympique last Saturday.
Barrow's game against Dewsbury Rams was postponed due to the bad weather but they have already beaten Leigh Centurions and drawn with Toronto Wolfpack this season but lost to London Broncos and Batley Bulldogs.
Hornets coach Alan Kilshaw said: “They are a really good side, we know that.
“They stayed consistent last year and improved their squad. They’ve not had much turnover, they have added quality to what they have got.
“It’s good to see a strong club in Cumbria; it’s good to see a strong Barrow in the Championship. We wish them luck this year, it is good to have them and good to be battling against them. Obviously we don’t wish them luck on Sunday, we want to hopefully get the two points.”
Kilshaw has made four changes to the squad which travelled to France, as dual-registered pair Harvey Livett and Jack Johnson are back with their parent club, the latter after breaking his leg in training this week. Also missing out are Ryan Maneely and Callum Mulkeen.
In comes Morgan Smith from Warrington Wolves, alongside Joe Taira who could not travel to Toulouse. Gary Middlehurst and Lewis Palfrey could be set to return from injury.
It is set to be a landmark occasion for both Lee Mitchell and Dave Allen on Sunday afternoon. Mitchell is set to make his 150th career appearance, while Allen will run out for the 250th time in his career.
Barrow will be without influential halfback Jamie Dallimore, after he picked up a four match suspension for Grade C dangerous contact in their defeat to Batley.
