Crown Oil Arena bars, catering department and kiosks given five star rating

The bars, catering department and kiosks at the Crown Oil Arena, home of Rochdale AFC and Rochdale Hornets, have been given a five star rating.

Environmental Health inspectors gave what is the best best mark that can be awarded after visiting the stadium recently to check and inspect food outlets and preparation areas.

Relevant paperwork, which must adhere to stringent rules and regulations, was also found to be up-to-date and in good order.

Dale Chief Executive Russ Green said: “The award is testament to the hard work that everybody puts in behind the scenes at the club, from the cleaners, to the bar staff and to our catering partners at the Quirky Catering Company and venue catering partner.

“We all work extremely hard to offer the best possible service to our supporters, whist also ensuring our food preparation areas are of a high standard, so we are delighted that we have been awarded a five star rating.”
