Football: Shawclough FC U7s new kit sponsored by Mercer Group

Rochdale based Shawclough FC U7s will be taking to the pitch in a new kit this September thanks to Dave Mercer from the Mercer Group, a local building contractor.
The team have played together for a year in the Heywood Mini League and are looking forward to continuing their development in the upcoming season.
Malc Grimwood, Shawclough coach, said: "The lads really started to click towards the end of last season and surprised everybody with their ability. They can't wait to get back on the pitch with a new kit and new confidence."
Shawclough FC have teams ranging from U7 up to U13 and budding footballers from age five upwards are invited to training at Lenny Barn playing fields every Saturday from 10:30am - 12pm.
