Rochdale Judo Club grading examination
Rochdale Judo Club held a grading examination on Sunday (18 June) and 27 junior judokas graded - eight pre Mon grade and 19 Mon grade.
The players have trained for months for the examination and put on a very skilful display for their coaches, examiners and parents.
Ages ranged from five-years-old to 15-years-old.
Coach Eddie Thomas (2nd Dan) said: "All the participants were applauded for their judo skills and understanding.
"Great fun and success were enjoyed by judokas and parents alike."
Two senior players had their new grades acknowledged, Hussam Khalil moved to 1st Kyu and Nicola Lochery progressed to 1st Dan.
The examination was organised and run by Eddie Thomas 2nd Dan, Dave Hulme 2nd Dan, Nicola Lochery 1st Dan and Hussam Khalil 1st Kyu.
All judokas were congratulated by Warren Schofield 7th Dan, Rochdale Judo Club Chairman.
Rochdale Judo Club, based on Trafalgar Street, is a well established judo club that is committed to providing judo and wider martial arts and fitness training to juniors and seniors based in the North West.
