Hornets half season ticket offer launched

In the wake of a superb 28-38 win against local rivals Oldham Roughyeds, Rochdale Hornets have launched a half season ticket.

Fans can snap up a half season ticket for just £70, meaning that dependant on final league positioning they could pay less than £9 for admission to all the remaining Kingstone Press Championship fixtures at The Crown Oil Arena.

With a host of superb games in the Kingstone Press Championship to come, including former Super League club Bradford Bulls, and a local derby against Swinton Lions, Club Chief Executive Adam Bates says "this season ticket offer is sure to provide great entertainment, and fantastic value for money".

On top of the remaining four scheduled home games, the season ticket will also offer admission to all qualifiers/bottom eight games, a further three or four games at The Crown Oil Arena (dependent on final league position).

Remaining games include:

• 18 June Rochdale Hornets v Bradford Bulls
• 25 June Rochdale Hornets v Batley Bulldogs
• 9 July Rochdale Hornets v Swinton Lions
• 16 July Rochdale Hornets v London Broncos 

Mr Bates said: “We’re half way through the regular season and after our superb win at the weekend, it felt like a great time to run a ticketing offer like this.

"Hornets fans have been loud and proud so far this year and we want to encourage more people to join them on the terraces, and cheer us through to the end of the season.”

The Kingstone Press Championship league splits off into the qualifiers and bottom eights at the end of July when Hornets will be allocated further fixtures, with the top four fighting for a place in the Betfred Super League, and the bottom eight fighting out for the Championship Shield trophy.

With Hornets currently sitting in eightth position it is likely they will be competing for the Championship Shield, and will potentially welcome back clubs such as Oldham, Swinton and Bradford Bulls to The Crown Oil Arena.

The offer is open to both adults and concessions, with junior season tickets remaining at £10.
