Even an early kick off wasn’t going to stop the unbeaten Rochdale Cobras side continuing their unbeaten run as they saw off Langworthy Reds.

The young Cobras came up against a very big Langworthy side who are very well drilled.

Straight from the kick off the Cobras where on the attack, and with some strong determined running scored a try to take an early lead they were never to relinquish.

David Lawlor, Cobra’s Manager said: “Cobras have been great week in week out in their attacking but today it was their strong hard defence that was the difference between the two sides. Cobras went in to the half time break 30-10 up.

“The second half saw the young Cobras brimming with confidence and started to play some really good rugby.

“In the second half, their defence was even better not allowing the Salford side to cross the line.”
