Thornham got their league campaign back on track, after back to back defeats in both the league and cup, by beating South West Manchester.
Captain Matt Collinge won the toss and elected to bowl.
After the first 10 overs, South West Manchester were 20-1 - restricted by strong opening bowling from Thornham's Ahmed and Adnan.
South West Manchester staged a recovery, being 81-2 before drinks, but couple of quick wickets after drinks put the pressure back on.
A flurry of late wickets by Adnan, who finished with 34-5, saw South West Manchester finish on 176 all out off 39 overs.
Thornham quickly accelerate towards the target, being 116-3 at drinks, with a handy contribution by Brown, scoring 33 off 31 balls.
Opening batsman Thomas Smith departed on 45 in the 25th over leaving Thornham 129-5.
Collinge (27 not out), Freer and Ahmed saw Thornham home in the 37th over to secure a first win of the season.
