Rugby League: Mayfield Preview

Date published: 04 May 2017

There are no easy games in the Kingstone Press NCL Premier Division and there are certainly no easy games in Hull, where Mayfield are heading to face Skirlaugh.

Mayfield have lost their last two outings, away at second division Oulton and at home to Thatto Heath.

Last week’s loss was a bitter pill for Mayfield to swallow - throwing away a 12-point lead.

They will be hoping that things go better and they get back some of the form that saw them do so well last season.

Calland and Butterworth will hold on before naming their side after picking a couple of players picking up injuries last week. Zac Baker and Zac Hartley were both missing last week along with James Shaw; at least two of these should be fit for the game and others will be going through their paces before selection.
