Rochdale Judo Club grading
Rochdale Judo Club held a promotion examination this weekend and 22 junior judokas graded.
The players have trained for months for the examination and put on a very skillful display for their coaches, examiners and parents.
Ages ranged from five-years-old to 15-years-old.
Two senior judokas also graded.
A club spokesperson said: "Everyone present at the grading examination, proud parents and newly promoted judokas alike, enjoyed the smiles of all as they received congratulations on their new grades.
"Ours is a community club that welcomes people of all ages and is representative of our diverse Rochdale Community.
"Judo is truly a sport for all and whether you're a serious competitor, headed for local and national competitions, or a judoka intent on making progress through the grades by achieving technical, non-competitive excellence, this club will make you welcome. All coaches are BJA qualified and all hold Child Protection DBS Certificates.
"If you are interested in joining call 01706 869818 during training evenings between 6.30pm and 8.30pm."
Rochdale Judo Club has training sessions on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday for seniors and cadets. Juniors train on Tuesdays and Fridays.
