Langworthy 12 - 30 Rochdale Cobras U10s

The new season started well for Rochdale Cobras Under 10s as they came away from a trip to Langworthy Reds with a comfortable victory.

On a miserable cold Sunday morning, Cobras started the game with two quick fire tries in the opening five minutes. One was converted.

As the weather got worse the young Cobras got better, and had a 20 point lead by half time.

The second half started just as the first with the Cobras going in early for another try.

Langworthy never gave up and kept attacking but the Cobras defence stood strong, until Langworthy finally broke through and got a reward for their efforts.

As the wind and rain got worse, both teams struggled with the cold and wet conditions but never gave up.

Elliot Fielding won the man-of-the-match - chosen by the Langworthy coach.
