Former Rochdale AFC striker Scott Hogan has been sold to Aston Villa for a reported £15million - and it is understood when Rochdale sold Hogan the deal included a sell on clause which will bring millions into Rochdale's coffers.
Rochdale AFC has been approached for comment.
