Littleborough Rugby Union FC Ladies
Littleborough RUFC Ladies were slow to start, fell behind early on and never recovered as they slumped to defeat against Halifax RUFC Ladies.
Immediately from kick off Halifax commanded the ball and pressed the Littleborough forwards back and soon crossed the line for their first converted try.
Within the first quarter of the match Halifax built up a lead of 17points and by half time the lead had increased to 22 points.
Straight from kick off in the second half Halifax were quickly on the attack in to Littleborough’s 10 metres area, nearly going over the line for a further try but the referee had blown his whistle for an earlier incident.
However, the match continued in Littleborough’s half and soon Halifax did cross the try line again. The conversion successful.
The Halifax domination continued when their left winger crossed the line for their sixth try.
Littleborough they never gave up and when possible took the game to their opponents but try as they might they just couldn’t score.
This was Littleborough's fourth game of their first season and they won two and lost two.
