Dale EFL Trophy games

Rochdale AFC club badge

Rochdale will host Sunderland and Notts County in the group stages of the EFL Trophy, while a trip to Hartlepool United awaits.

In the newly-formatted competition, the EFL invited 16 category one academy teams to join, including Sunderland.

The group games will take place during the weeks commencing 29 August, 3 October and 7 November.
