Fire in central Heywood

A blaze in Market Place, Heywood needed two fire engines to put it out.
At 23:35pm on Thursday 7 October, emergency services received a report of a fire in a detached garage in Heywood. Crews from Heywood and Rochdale attended and put the fire out.
One hose reel and two breathing apparatuses were used.
