Footballers from Redwood Secondary School represented Rochdale Football Club against MK Dons on Saturday 5 March.
MK Dons FC Disability squads travelled with their first team squad who were playing at Spotland.
They brought their under 16s who played on the 5-a-side pitch before the game and at half time on the main pitch the under 12s representing teams from both clubs battled it out in front of both sets of fans.
A spokesperson for Redwood School said: “The scores of the encounters were not important as it was to be a social affair offering both projects the chance to display good practices around work with special needs groups within the community.
“All players, parents and staff from both sides enjoyed their experience at Spotland.”

Rochdale players Matty Edwards and Liam Dickinson attended Redwood School to present awards in assembly following the week long Football in the Community coaching programme the club delivered just before Christmas.
Also, whilst at School, they met with many of the pupils with a question and answer session followed by autographs.
A spokesperson for the school said: “A massive thank you for the excellent working relationship and opportunities Rochdale F.C. have provided to the pupils of Redwood Secondary School. Long may this partnership continue as it is assisting in young people’s development throughout the school.”
