Holland & Barrett is set to open its doors at Rochdale Riverside this Wednesday (13 November)
The Rochdale branch of Holland & Barrett is set to open in a new location at Rochdale Riverside this Wednesday (13 November), with American fast food restaurant chain Taco Bell also set to open its first outlet in the borough there before the end of the year.
Alongside the new arrivals, Greggs will also be moving to a bigger unit opposite Next in order to provide a more spacious and welcoming environment, with increased dining space and product ranges for its customers.
With the new and improved stores opening their doors at Rochdale Riverside before the end of the year, the popular retail and leisure destination in the heart of the town centre is almost fully let.
Rachel Byrne, centre manager at Rochdale Riverside, said: “We are thrilled to be welcoming Holland & Barrett and Taco Bell to Rochdale Riverside.
“We look forward to having the teams on board and seeing the new stores open their doors, alongside a bigger Greggs store which we know will be a big hit with customers.”
Councillor Danny Meredith, cabinet member for housing and regeneration at Rochdale Council, said: “It’s great to see Greggs and Holland & Barrett both expanding their operations in Rochdale town centre by taking larger units here in Rochdale Riverside, alongside Taco Bell, which is opening its first outlet in the borough.
"They will be joining a stellar line up of businesses at Rochdale Riverside, which is a go to destination for retail and leisure customers.”
Holland & Barrett and Taco Bell are the latest additions to an already impressive lineup of high street favourites at Rochdale Riverside, including M&S, Next, Boots, The Works, and Nando's.
With nearly all units now occupied, the centre continues to grow as a go-to shopping and leisure destination for locals and visitors alike.
