Flooding in Littleborough affecting train services and roads

Trains services between Rochdale and Hebden Bridge have been cancelled due to flooding (5.00pm Saturday 12 December).
Northern Rail is reporting train services running through these stations may be delayed by up to 40 minutes or revised. Disruption is expected until 7:00pm.
Rail replacement transport is unable to travel between Rochdale and Hebden Bridge as the route has been deemed unsafe, ticket acceptance has been agreed on Transpennine Express services to travel to Leeds for stations back towards Hebden Bridge.
The line is also blocked at Walsden.
Littleborough centre is also flooded at the Bay of Bengal, Todmorden Road, Littleborough, drivers take care.
Severe flood waters at the top of Blackstone Edge, Halifax Road, A58, near reservoir going to Cragg Vale, B6138.

The flooding in Littleborough has subsided.
