Mayor inaugurates new Spotland Road Community Post Office

Rochdale Mayor Councillor Surrinder Biant and Mayoress Councillor Cecile Biant has inaugurated a new Community Post Office on Spotland Road.

Post Master Faisal Rana said: “The Spotland Road Post Office has existed in the community for almost two decades but has now be upgraded to a local community post office along with grocery store.

"Under the new format the post office will now open seven days a week, including bank holidays, which will give the community a lot of flexibility to visit the post office whenever they want."

The Mayor said he appreciated the efforts and hard work of Faisal Rana and his staff and said; "This is a great addition to the Spotland Road community who can now use the postal services seven days a week."
