Friends of Norden Jubilee Park Halloween party
The Friends of Norden Jubilee Park held their first children's Halloween party on Saturday (31 October).
Hundreds of people turned up to join in with the spooky fun and various games, which included, whack the bat, mummy wrap, pin the wart on the witch, trick or treat and the Halloween obstacle course.
Norden councillors Jim Gartside and Peter Winkler awarded prizes to the best fancy dress costume.
Volunteers worked all day to provide the event for the village and decorated the park to a superb standard, which consisted of a spooky graveyard, sound and lighting effects and the return of the Norden Witch, last seen in Norden carnival.
Chairman of Friends of Jubilee Park, Paul Ellison said: "What an unbelievable turn out and to see so many children and families having so much Halloween fun was great. The park was in its element."
