Eight A stars for Member of Youth Parliament, Ethan Marriott

Falinge Park student Ethan Marriott, the Member of Youth Parliament for Rochdale, gained eight A*s and 2 As with a Merit in IT. Ethan, who is going on to the Rochdale Sixth Form College, said: “I am not sure what I want to do in the future yet.” But Headteacher, Robin Lonsdale said: “I can see Ethan going into politics or law.”
Sadaf Iqbal gained nine A*s, an A and a B, she is also going on to the Sixth Form College then university to study medicine.
Abbey Smith got six A*s, one A, five Bs and a C. Abbey is going to the Sixth Form College and wants to be a teacher.
Hannah Beech got six A*s, a B and nine Cs, she said: ” I am going to the Sixth Form College then to university to study law.”
Anum Farooq got four A*s, four As and a B; she is going on to the Sixth Form College and wants to study maths.
Madihah Ashraf got three A*s, five As, one B and one C; she is also going to the Sixth Form College and hopes to study law.
Hannah Sastawnyuk got an A* in music, three As, two Bs and three Cs, Hannah is going on to the Sixth Form College to study Musical Theatre.
Natasha Waddington got a Distinction* in Music, a Merit in IT, five Bs and one C. Natasha is going on to the Sixth Form College and wants to be a midwife.
Headteacher, Robin Lonsdale who is retiring said: “It’s a bitter sweet day for me, great to see how well the students have done, but it’s the last time I’ll be here for all this. I have really enjoyed my time at Falinge over the years, I taught Ethan's mum, and now her son. I will miss it all.”
