Bamford Chapel and Norden URC held their annual garden party today (Saturday 11 July).

Held on the fields to the rear of Bamford Chapel, the annual event included stalls such as a plant stall, book stall and fruit cocktails and games including hook a duck, a raffle and a tombola.

Louise Aspinall said: “The event has just got bigger as the years have gone on. I couldn’t say for certain how long the event has been running but it is a tradition now.

“The plant stall is something that many people come along to see because over time, that itself has grown.”

Entertainment at the event was provided by Rochdale Junior Wind Band and the Rock Choir.
