Middleton police week of action at Baguley Crescent

Date published: 21 March 2015

Police in Middleton are holding a week of action on Baguley Crescent from Monday 23 March to address a number of issues including fly tipping, anti-social behaviour, drug use and burglary.

During the week of action, police are looking to meet with residents and discuss the issues that have been occurring and discuss future work around any problems that arise.

A street cleaning team will do litter picks and street maintenance within the street. Work into having fly tippers prosecuted will also be undertaken.

Stuart Ockwell from Middleton Police said: “We will be calling to speak to all of the residents, but at the same time, they are free to come out and speak to us should they see us within the street.”

The estate is a mixture of private housing, social housing and private rented properties and falls under the responsibility of Bury Council.
