Can Captain English save us from the Dark Side?

Hornet's Captain Wayne English with Stormtroopers from the 99th Garrison and two Fem-Troopers
Rochdale Hornet's captain Wayne English got more than he bargained for when Saint Helens came to town. As well as having to fight off a team packed with Super League players, he had to face up to the Dark Side of the Force as well.
Stormtroopers from the 99th Garrison and two Fem-Troopers went with other characters to warm up the fans on a chilly February afternoon at Spotland, and to pass on the message that Dale-Con 2 is coming to the Wheatsheaf Shopping Centre during the half-term holidays - on Saturday and Sunday 22 and 23 February.
The troopers gave out nearly 500 hundred shirts to the appreciative fans.
Wayne English is seen wearing a Joining Jack t-shirt, as one of the charities that the Hornets will be focusing on raising the profile of in 2014. Jack has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, DMD, for which there is currently no cure.
