Jewellery & Banknote Recycling
We are collecting any old or unwanted gold, silver; costume jewellery, watches, old/new foreign banknotes/old UK banknotes. The funds raised will go to RSPB. If you have anything you wish to donate any, they can be handed in at school. Thank you.

Community Play Bus
The Play bus will be on the Community Centre on Fridays from 3.15pm – 5.30pm. Free craft activities. All welcome.

Swimming Training
Year 5/6 swimming training is on Friday mornings. Children need to be at Castleton Baths by 8.30am.

Story Sacks
Story Sacks for Reception children is on Fridays from 2.30pm onwards. If you have taken a Story Sack home, it needs to be back into school by Friday morning so they can be sorted out for the afternoon session. Thank you.

Year 5 Cycle Training
The National Cycle Academy have been in school this week working with children in Class 5FL. Next week they will be working with Class 5F.

PTA Meeting
The next PTA is on Monday 10th February 2014 at 6.30pm in school. All welcome.

Year 6 Youth Club
Year 6 Youth Club is on Monday nights at 6.30-830pm.

Running Club
There will be no Running Club on Tuesday because of the parents meetings. It will restart after the half term on Tuesday 25 February.

Football Club
Football has now finished. Mrs. Taylor will let children know who has made the team for the competition on Friday.

Sainsbury’s Vouchers
We are now collecting these vouchers.

Music Lessons
Lessons are £2.85 per week. Please make sure all fees are up-to-date in order to continue with lessons. Thank you.

Year 4 French
Next Monday 10 February, Class 4S are going to have a French taster lesson at Matthew Moss School. Please make sure children are in school on time and have suitable coats with them as we will be walking to Matthew Moss for 9.30am.

School Assembly
You are welcome to come and watch your child in their class assembly. Class 2B is on Tues 4 March at 1pm; Class 2R is on Tues 11 March at 1pm; Class 1G is on Tues 18 March at 1pm; Class 1B is on Tues 25 March at 1pm; Class RD is on Tues 29 April at 1pm and Class RP is on Tues 6 May at 1pm.

Dinner Money
Dinner money is now £1.90 per day - £9.50 per week. Money needs to be paid either weekly in advance on a Monday morning or on a daily basis.
Our menus are on a three-weekly cycle. Next week we will be on Week 3.

Training Days
A reminder that school will be closed to pupils for Teacher Training Days on Monday 24 February and Monday 2 June.
