Whitworth Community High School Under 13s football team
The Under 13s football team at Whitworth Community High School has reached the semi-final of the English School’s Small School’s Cup.
The team, made up of pupils from year 7 and 8 will now take on a school from Derbyshire, at Whitworth, to see who reaches the final.
Gillian Middlemas, Acting Headteacher at Whitworth Community High School, said: “Their last match was a hard fought match but the team did well. They travelled hundreds of miles to Carlisle for their last match and did very well.”
If successful in the semi-final the team will go on and play the final at Stanford.
