Sponsored walk raises £800 for charity

Start of the walk at Wardle Reservoir
Liz Anker from Rochdale, along with family, friends and the family dog Baxter, raised £800 for a children’s home in Cambodia. The money raised will be used to send parcels to children living in the home in Cambodia.
The walk was ten miles long and started at Wardle Reservoir and ended at Hollingworth Lake.
Liz, who organised the walk said: “It was brilliant. We all managed to do the walk and luckily it was a really nice day.”
