Car crime in Middleton

Following a large number of complaints regarding Anti-Social Behaviour and contravention of the two warning signs to vehicles using Limefield Leisure Park, a Renault Clio motor vehicle was seized under Section 59 of the Road Traffic Act on the evening of 22 August from Limefield Leisure Park - the driver of the vehicle had been performing hand brake turns on the car park and continually revving the vehicle engine and playing very loud music.

A vehicle that was stolen from Middleton Arena on the 20 August has been recovered by Bolton Police in the early hours of this morning. Police spotted the vehicle being driven at speed on Scout Road, Smithills, Bolton, the vehicle crashed into a fence and one male was arrested and is currently in custody.

A black and silver motorcycle/scooter was stolen overnight on the 16 August in Middleton, the vehicle registration is MX58 VSM. Police would like to hear from anyone in the area of Middleton who may have heard or saw someone in or near to Searness Road, or anyone that may have sighted the vehicle since the theft.
