Beech House School delighted with GCSE results

Date published: 22 August 2013

Headteacher Mr Sartain, of Beech House High School, has praised students for their GCSE results, after they were received by pupils this morning.

Mr Sartain said: “We are delighted at the number of A and A* grades and have achieved a record number of grade A.”

Mr Sartain particularly praised four students who between them received 48 A and A* grades. Issmaeel Ansari, Anusia Battersby, Molly Corrign and Raeesah Shahid were all congratulated by their head teacher for their outstanding achievement.

“We are delighted with this achievement, as are the pupils and I imagine that are crying tears of joy,” said Mr Sartain.

All four pupils will be moving on to college to further their education, as will every other pupil from Beech House. Mr. Sartain added: “We have got everyone from the school going on to college and that is another achievement to be proud of.”
