Date published: 22 August 2013

Eleven-year-old Brooklyn Bell from Rochdale has achieved a grade B at GCSE Maths. Brooklyn, who currently attends Holy Family Primary School, was the only primary school pupil to sit the exam at Kingsway Park High School.

Carol Roberts, Brooklyn’s grandmother is extremely proud of his achievement. “We’re very, very proud of him for doing this” she said.

Brooklyn sat the exam at Kingsway Park High School and received his result this morning. “This was the only GCSE he did” added Carol.

Brooklyn was deemed clever enough to sit the exam by his school and was put forward to sit the GCSE. “He is just so smart,” added Carol.

Brooklyn will be attending St Cuthbert’s High School in September.
