Oulder Hill GCSE results

Jon Collins, Deputy Head, said: "Delighted with the results. Pleased to see the students going on to progress to the next stage in their studies. Results up in all areas from last year. Testament to all the hard work from students and staff. "

Lori Dutton, six A*,  two A and  three B, is going to Bury College studying biology and sociology wants to be a translator. 

Chloe Cunningham, A*, two A, five B, is going to Bury College and wants to study biology, chemistry, English language and history.

Ben Lee, six 6A*, three A, two B, is going to Rochdale Sixth Form to study sciences and mathsand wants to study physics at university.

Henna Janghir, A* and eight A, got 100% passes in all her history coursework and her exam. 

Jon Collins, Deputy Head said: “This was an amazing unprecedented achievement, I don’t think I know any one else who has achieved this in any subject.”

Henna is going to Rochdale Sixth Form studying history, law, French and psychology, and wants to be a barrister.

Hassan Iqbal,  one A, three B, two C, is going to Peter Jones Academy, Oldham (set up by Peter Jones CBE, entrepreneur and star of Dragons’ Den). Hassan set up his first business when he was eight and will concentrate on building his business whilst at the academy and aim to finish with the equivalent of three A levels.

Lorraine from Enterprising Child said: I was delighted to recently have the pleasure of talking with 15-year-old Hassan Iqbal who lives in Rochdale, UK. At just 13 years of age Hassan set up the Haz-Corporation under which he has run Haz-Tec (computer repairs), Haz-Sell (online classified ads), and Haz.Me (a virtual learning environment with social networking component for pupils aged 9+). He is currently focused on Haz-Server – a company-providing web hosting solutions to business.
