Multi-sports summer fun day

Over 60 children took part in an exciting and action packed day at Heywood Sports Village. The event saw children taking part in activities such as youth gym, football, dodge ball, swimming and basketball.
Springhill Hospice delivered on an arts and craft competition which the children all thoroughly enjoyed.
Link4Life Go4it Holiday Programme Co-ordinator, Leigh-Anne Carnall said: “These multi-sports summer fun sessions have been delivered by working in partnership with the Springhill Hospice, Rochdale.
"The event was a great success, with plenty of activities going on, to keep children of all ages happy.
"For every participant who took the event 50p will be donated to the Springhill Hospice. We are pleased to be able to support such a great cause.”
