Small World Nursery Summer Fair
Date published: 17 August 2013
Small World Nursery held their summer fair today (Saturday 17 August) to raise funds for nursery equipment and their nursery fund.
Manager of the nursery, Louise Marshall said: “It’s a good day for families to come together and have fun.”
On hand to entertain the children was a bouncy castle, face painting, tombola stall, bottle stall, hand made crafts for sale and a BBQ.
“We held the fair last year and it was really successful so we’re hoping for the same again,” added Louise.
Money raised from the fair will help the nursery fund things like trips for the children and will help with costs of nursery equipment.
Deputy manager, Leanne Fletcher said: “We want to raise as much as possible. Every little helps really.”
Small World Nursery is on Market Street (Healey Corner), Whitworth and looks after 55 children.
“All of the families of our children said they will come so it should be a good day,” added Leanne.
