Heywood man arrested and charged with racially aggravated offence

An 18-year-old male from the Heywood has been arrested and charged today in connection with a racially/religiously aggravated offence under Section 4 of the Public Order Act following an alleged incident outside a bar on Packer Street in Rochdale Town Centre.
Nathan Kelly (13/04/1995) from Heywood has been charged with racially/religiously aggravated intentional harassment causing alarm and distress. He has also been charged with the offence of using threatening, abusive or insulting words/behaviour to cause harassment, alarm and distress.
Jordan Dean (23/11/1994) of New Cateaton Street, Bury, has also been charged with the same, as has Dafydd Billington (27/04/1994) of Windermere Drive, Bury.
All three males have been bailed to appear at Bury and Rochdale Magistrates' Court.
