Charity box stolen from Heywood gift shop

A charity collection box and mobile phone have been stolen from a gift shop in Heywood.
The incident occurred at around 2.30pm on Tuesday 23 July at Sweet and Yummy Gifts.
It is understood that whilst a female distracted the shop owner, a male suspect reached over the counter and took a mobile phone and charity box.
They then fled the scene and got into a waiting car that was parked outside.
It is believed the suspects had been in the shop days prior.
Police are looking into the incident.
