Anti Social Behaviour in Newbold
Date published: 02 August 2013
Residents in the Milnrow Road and Newbold area are being plagued by the Anti Social Behaviour (ASB) of local youths.
The ASB is occuring mainly at weekends and Rochdale police are trying to resolve the matter with a patrol plan which will increase police visibility in the area.
A police operation has been put together to tackle ASB and this will commence today (Firday 2 August).
A police speksman said: "Officers will be out and about later covering the ASB hot spot areas and speaking to any youths causing issues in the area. Details will be taken and if youths are being stopped on a regular basis then letters will be sent home to their parents and they can also be invited in for a warning interview."
