Man injured in industrial accident in Littleborough

A 37-year-old man has been injured in an industrial accident in Littleborough.
The accident occurred at around 5.00pm yesterday evening (Monday 29 July) at West Pennine Carpets on Calderbrook Road, Littleborough.
The 37-year-old man suffered a serious head injury and multiple fractures to his legs.
He was taken to Salford Royal Hospital for treatment where he is currently in a serious but stable condition.
A joint investigation by Greater Manchester Police and the HSE is now underway to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident.
