Northern Rail services continue to be suspended between Rochdale and Hebden Bridge due to flooding in the Walsden area (10.30am 30 July).
This is due to a broken culvert, which is diverting river water directly onto the railway. The local authority is working to repair the culvert so that Network Rail engineers can complete track work.
Rail replacement buses continue to call at all stations between Rochdale and Hebden Bridge. Buses are currently unable to call at Walsden station due to a landslip blocking the main road.

A full service is operating from Rochdale into Manchester Victoria with some services extended to originate from Littleborough where they can.
First TransPennine Express Trains has agreed ticket acceptance for Northern ticket holders between Leeds and Manchester via Huddersfield.
