Micro site for the Cathedral

Date published: 23 July 2013

RO Web Solutions, the web development arm of Rochdale Online, has developed a new 'micro' website for Manchester Cathedral. The website is a single page designed to focus on one area of the Cathedral's business.

Ian Kimber, Technical Director at Rochdale Online, said: “This is a highly focused single page website.”

Anthony O’Connor from Manchester Cathedral said: “The website looks fresh, clean and easy to navigate. The lay-out, images and the ability for someone to navigate it easily are what I particularly like about it.”

A micro site is a single page website with a content management system.

Anthony added: “We chose this option because it was the most inexpensive option.”

Rochdale Online Web Solutions designs websites for local businesses. Ian added: “We provide a personal service to the client.”

Anthony O’Connor said: “Rochdale Online are a stakeholder with Manchester Cathedral and as we have maintained an excellent relationship it seemed obvious to us that they would take the lead in developing this micro-site with us.”

Rochdale Online Web Solutions have been working with Manchester Diocese, designing, developing and maintaining the website since July 2002.
