Thomas Francis Hallisey - wanted man believed to be in Rochdale

Police are appealing for the public’s help in locating a man who they would like to speak to in connection with an incident in Leicester.

Officers want to speak to Thomas Francis Hallisey (14/07/77), about a burglary that took place on March 6, 2013 at a house on Wintersdale Road, Leicester.

It is believed that Hallisey has links to Leicestershire, Rochdale, Lancashire, Littleport, Cambridgeshire and Newark in Nottinghamshire.

Police have released an image of Hallisey in the hope that someone will recognise him and report his whereabouts to the police.

Detective Constable Yassin Desai, the investigating officer, said: “We have been liaising with colleagues in the aforementioned forces and conducting extensive enquiries.

“Thomas Hallisey may hold valuable information that could assist us with our investigation.

“We are asking that you take a moment to look at the picture, do you recognise the face? Do you know where he may be?

“Be assured that any information will be treated in the strictest confidence.”

Anyone with any information is asked to contact DC 2146 Yassin Desai on 101*, follow the instructions to leave a message for a police officer and when prompted key in the officer's identification number 2146. Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers, which is free** and anonymous, on 0800 555 111.
