Stuart Peter Shaw charged with attempted murder

Stuart Peter Shaw (born 18/05/1988) of Green Meadow, Hurstead, Rochdale has been charged with attempted murder and is due to appear at Bury and Rochdale Magistrates Court today, Monday 15 July 2013.
At around 4am on Saturday 13 July 2013, police were called to a house on Ashbrook Hey Lane in Rochdale.
Officers attended and discovered a 54-year-old woman with serious head injuries. She was taken to hospital where her condition is stable.
