College presents £4k cheque to hospice

Hopwood Hall College Principal, Derek O’Toole; Hopwood Hall College Marketing Co-ordinator, Lindsay Hurst; Hopwood Hall College Vice Chair of Governors, Clive Reid, Chairman of Springhill Hospice, Robert Clegg and Hopwood Hall College Deputy Principal, John Spindler.
Hopwood Hall College staff handed over a cheque for just over £4,000 to Springhill Hospice.
The money was the result of fundraising efforts from a team of 30 staff. Made up of the entire College Executive Team, they took part in the Bupa Manchester 10K run.
Deputy Principal, John Spindler said: “We’re delighted to have raised such an incredible amount of money for such a worthwhile charity.
"We’d all like to say thanks to the friends, family, staff and local businesses including Lloyds Bank and RSM Tenon, who have all given so generously.”
