Year 11 GCSE results are available for collection by students on Thursday 22 August from 9.00am. If you are unable to collect your own results then some-one can collect them on your behalf with a letter of authority and proof of identification. Alternatively an SAE can be left at reception for results to be posted home.

Year 10 GCSE results may also be collected by students from 11.00am; if not collected these will be given out to students in September.

The whole school sports day took place on Wednesday. Every child in school was involved in representing a country, taking part in both team and individual sports. A great day was had by all.

This week’s theme was ‘Retreat and Rejoice’. Our Enterprise capability was RESEARCH & ANALYSIS and this half-term’s focus for Year 7 is REFLECTION AND EVALUATION.

Our Saint of the Week was Saint Benedict, an outstanding example of service and prayer. Together with his disciples, called Benedictines, he founded a monastery in Monte Cassino which became the model for monastic life across Europe. Benedict’s beliefs and instructions became known as the Rule of St Benedict which still directs religious life after 15 centuries. He became Parton of Europe in 1964. Students were asked to reflect on how we can make time to listen and reflect on what God’s plan is for us.
