Healey Foundation Primary School

Date published: 10 July 2013

This report brings to an end the academic year and the retirement of Mrs Taylor, Mrs Whitworth and Mrs Ainley. We are all indebted to the support given to us over the years and know that we have left Healey in a very secure place. We would like to jointly wish everyone - children, parents, governors and friends past and present the very best and hope that your memories of our time in charge at Healey are good ones.

Saturday is the Summer Spectacular to which we have been invited by Rochdale Youth Orchestra. This should be a lovely event and it is in the stunning Town Hall.

Monday 15th is our French Day where all children have been asked to come in clothes which are red, white and blue if at all possible.

On Tuesday 16th at 6pm it is the evening performance of ‘Joseph and the Technicolour Dreamcoat’ from Years 5 and 6.

On Wednesday, 17th, it is the end of year cups and awards assembly. The matinee performance by the Years 5 and 6 is at 1.30pm on Thursday.

Well done to the following children who received the Achievement Award last week:

Reception: Autumn Stott
Year 1: Kyrah Patterson
Year 2: Amelia Roberts
Year 3: Toby Rahman
Year 4: Joshua Lazo
Year 5: Ben Johnson
Year 6: Cristian Soare

Attendance last week was EXCELLENT! The whole school was 98.4% and Year 5 managed 100%.
