Middleton Health Centre extends walk-in boundary

Middleton Health Centre
With waiting times usually significantly less than A&E, Middleton Health Centre is an option for anyone who becomes unwell and unable to see their own GP.
The Health Centre is both a GP surgery where patients can register, and a walk-in service for those who need immediate care.
Lead GP Dr Dev Shanker comments: “We can treat anyone from the Rochdale borough, Greater Manchester and throughout England. Our aim is to help reduce the number of people using A&E but still offer a high quality health service to the local community”.
Feedback from patinets has been positive. One patient said: “Everything about the service offered impressed me and I couldn’t believe how pleasant everybody was”.
The centre is open 8.00am to 8.00pm, 7 days a week including Christmas, Easter and bank holidays.
The surgery is located on the first floor of the Middleton shopping Centre, easily accessed by public transport with the Middleton Bus Station located close by, and there is ample parking.
